Kathmandu. The Education Development and Coordination Unit Parbat has urged to implement the decision of the Ministry of Education to close schools across the country along with the spread of COVID-19.
The office has again drawn attention after the opening of schools in most areas of the district and the conduct of classes without health standards.
Office chief Uddhim Raj Poudel issued a letter on Sunday drawing the attention of all the schools in the district to close the schools till January 31 to protect the students from infection.

It has been requested to make necessary facilitation for the learning of the students during the period of leave from January 11 to January 15 to match the annual leave of basic and secondary schools.
During the leave period, the PRA has been instructed to coordinate with the local health post to facilitate the vaccination of children between the ages of 12 and 17, and to coordinate with the local health institution to fully vaccinate the students, teachers, staff, and parents above 18 years.
The directive also stipulates that the pre-determined examinations of universities and educational institutes will be conducted by managing Z-shaped accommodation in compliance with the standards of public health and safety. It has been requested not to hold a meeting at the school until further notice.
