Today we are talking about the cheap internet packages available in the market which cost less than Rs. 1000 per month when you take the annual package.

Kathmandu. There are 134 licensed companies providing internet services in Nepal. However, data from the Telecommunications Authority of Nepal shows that only 51 regulators are in operation.

Due to a large number of service providers, there is competition in both internet speed and price. However, among the many service providers, choosing the right service and package in terms of internet speed, quality and price is still a challenge for the customer.

Today we are talking about the cheap internet packages available in the market which cost less than Rs. 1000 per month when you take the annual package.

In this list, we have included 17 packages of internet service providers in use in at least five thousand homes.

1. CGNet’s 50 Mbps

CG Net’s 50 Mbps speed internet is currently the cheapest package available in the market.

Customers who take this internet package, which costs Rs 649 per month excluding VAT, have to keep a one-time deposit of Rs 2,500 to Rs 3,000 and a refundable deposit of Rs 500.

2. Aronet’s 11 Mbps

The second cheapest internet package is Aronet’s 11 Mbps internet speed.

Customers who want to avail of this package, which costs Rs 663 excluding VAT, will have to pay Rs 2,500 for the router, Rs 500 for the service fee, Rs 25 per meter for cable, and Rs 1,500 for the security deposit (refundable) for the first time. This package does not have an IPTV facility.

3. 55 Mbps of WebSurfer

WebSurfer’s 55 Mbps Internet is the third cheapest package. This package, which also has IPTV, costs only Rs 714 per month when purchasing an annual package.

When connecting for the first time, you have to keep a deposit of Rs 2,000 and Rs 1,500 for the router, fiber cable, and STB activation.

4. Lupnet 15 Mbps

Lupnet’s 15 Mbps internet comes with an annual package of Rs 724 excluding monthly VAT. If you want IPTV, you can also get this package at Rs 887 per month. The new customer has to pay a fee of Rs.500 and a deposit of Rs.500.

5. Netmax 10 Mbps

Netmax’s 10 Mbps internet can be used by annual subscribers at Rs 737 per month excluding VAT. For this, you have to keep a deposit of Rs.500. IPTV facility is not available in this package.

6. Nepal Telecom 25 Mbps

Nepal Telecom’s 25 Mbps internet costs Rs 774 per month excluding VAT. The first-time connection customer has to pay an additional fee of Rs 1165.

To get the company’s FTTH service, customers get a balance of Rs 100 and a landline telephone service with 3,000 minutes of talk time. Apart from this, the telco has also been providing the facility of 300 Mbps data per day in mobiles. IPTV facility is not available in this package.

7. TechMinds 15 Mbps

TechMinds’ 15 Mbps internet package is available to annual subscribers for a monthly fee of Rs 791 excluding VAT. As mentioned on the company’s website, it is not clear whether additional fees and deposits will be required.

8. 20 Mbps of FirstLink

Customers who purchase the annual package can use it for a monthly fee of Rs 797 excluding VAT. For this, the customer has to pay an additional fee of Rs 1,000 and deposit Rs 1,000 for the first time. This does not include IPTV service.

9. Vinet’s 75 Mbps

Vinet, one of the largest internet service providers in Nepal, is offering a 75 Mbps speed internet package at Rs. 700 per month excluding VAT for customers who take the annual package.

A deposit of Rs. 500 is required for this special package brought for a limited period. By purchasing this package, you will get a total of 48 GB of data, 50 minutes of calls, and 50 free SMS per month at the rate of 4 GB per month on Ncell’s SIM. IPTV service is not included in this package.

10. Lupnet’s 25 Mbps

The annual package for the internet comes to Rs 833 excluding monthly VAT. For this, for the first time, an additional fee of Rs. 500 and a deposit of Rs. 500 is required. If you want to run IPTV in this package, you have to take a package of Rs 995 per month.

11. WebSurfer’s 50 Mbps Internet

WebSurfer is providing 40 Mbps internet at Rs 885 per month excluding VAT in the annual package. The company has stated that two IPTVs can also be found in it.

For this, for the first time, an additional fee of Rs 500 and a deposit of Rs 500 has to be paid, according to the company’s website.

12. 25 Mbps of DishHome Fibernet

Safal Dishhome FiberNet is providing an annual package of Rs. You can even get IPTV in it. Apart from this deposit and no extra charge package, if you use DishH of DishHome, you can get a cheaper internet package.

13. Lupnet’s 35 Mbps

Lupnet is providing 25 Mbps speed internet at Rs 966 excluding monthly VAT to the customers who take the annual package. For this, an additional fee of five hundred rupees and a deposit of five hundred rupees have to be paid. IPTV service is not included in this package.

14. Aronet’s 20 Mbps

Aironet is providing 20 Mbps speed internet at Rs 992 per month excluding VAT to the customers who purchase the annual package. For this, you have to pay Rs. 3000 as an additional fee and Rs. 25 per meter of wire. Apart from that, one has to deposit Rs 1,500 as a deposit.

15. Subisu’s 30 Mbps Internet

Subisu, the second largest internet service provider in the private sector, has been providing a 30 Mbps internet package of Rs 995 per month excluding VAT.

For this, an initial fee of Rs. 2597 and a deposit of Rs. 500 is required. This does not include IPTV service.

16. CGNet’s 120 Mbps

This package that came into the market along with CG Net has made the internet market of Nepal turbulent. For this 120 Mbps internet of the company, you have to pay Rs. 999 per month excluding VAT. For the first-time connection, the annual customer has to pay a deposit of Rs.500.
