Farewell to the men’s and women’s volleyball team playing in the Asian Central Zone

19 December, Kathmandu. Nepal Volleyball Association has bid farewell to the Nepali team participating in the Asian Central Zone Women’s and Men’s Volleyball Tournament to be held in Bangladesh. Youth and Sports Minister Maheshwar Jung Gahatraj bade farewell to the team participating in the tournament to be held in Dhaka from December 21 to 29.

The volleyball team will leave for Dhaka tomorrow at 12 noon. For the first time, Laxmi Chand has made it to the national team for the women’s team. Similarly, Shanti Tharu, Kripa Adhikari, Kamana Vist, and Manisha Chaudhary have returned to the team.

APF’s Reshma Bhandari, Puman Chand, Shantikala Tamang, Usha Bista, and Janaki Bhandari, who have been members of the national women’s volleyball team for a long time, were not included in the team this time. Similarly, Man Bahadur Shrestha and Bhairav ​​Bam have returned to the national team.

Six countries including Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan will participate in the competition. On the men’s side, five nations including Bangladesh, Maldives, Nepal, Sri Lanka, and Uzbekistan will participate.
