11 December, Kathmandu. The movie ‘Chapali Height 3’, which will be released on December 17, has passed censorship. The film was awarded a PG certificate by the Central Film Screening Committee on Friday, a year before its release.
Now, viewers under the age of 16 will need to be accompanied by their parents to watch this movie. Produced by Arjun Kumar and directed by Nikesh Khadka, the film is in the crime thriller genre.
The film stars Swastima Khadka, Aamir Gautam, Supushpa Bhatt, Mahesh Tripathi, Pratikman Shrestha, and Arpan Thapa in the lead roles. The film also stars Deepashree Niraula, Laxmi Bardewa, Lokendra Lekhak, Vishal Pahari, Jeevan Bhattarai, Sushma Niraula among others. The story and dialogues of the film are written by Akash Baral.
The previous series of ‘Chapali Height’ is considered a success. The production team seems to be confident that ‘Chapali Height 3’ will win the hearts of the audience. The film will be distributed by Station Five in Kathmandu Valley and FD Company outside the Valley.
After the Corona epidemic, some small-budget Nepali films were released but many people are looking at ‘Chapali Height 3’ as they are not able to attract viewers. It is expected to bring the audience of Nepali films back to the hall. The production team has also intensified the publicity as the release date of the film is approaching.
